My Story
My name is Catina Morrison, the Founder and CEO of Nurse Loves Essentials LLC, a registered nurse (RN), Chronic Illness Coach, and host of the Inflamed Sisters Thriving Podcast.
Despite being a RN, my chronic illness journey is like so many women, filled with misdiagnosis, medical gaslighting and inadequate treatment. I also watched as my mom for whom I am a care-giver endured decades of the same treatment.
I was finally diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and endometriosis after 30 years of symptoms. I found my voice and learned to advocate for myself, and now I chose to help others. Self health advocacy is so vital to get the care and treatment that you deserve, but it's not easy. That's why I became a Chronic Illness Coach.
I started my Instagram platform to inspire, educate, and motivate women like me to stop hiding and start thriving. I am on a mission to teach others how to advocate for their health, to decrease the time it takes to get solutions, and to start living fulfilling lives. I also want to provide a community where women can thrive together as they achieve success without sacrificing their health. We became the Inflamed Sisters Thriving.
It is my privilege to be a part of this thriving community and my passion to help others to stop hiding and start thriving together always.
