My Story
The VA used to provide me with excellent chiropractic care, which made a real difference in managing my pain. Unfortunately, they’ve now added new requirements, including multiple classes, which create a barrier to accessing care. When I was first referred, it took 2.5 months just to get an appointment. Now, I’ve been told they won’t authorize chiropractic care for me at all. I hope this process can be reevaluated so veterans like me don’t lose access to essential services.
My Motivation and Inspiration
Too many of the other veterans I know are very disappointed in the care they receive or are refused.
