My Story

Many types of diseases run in my family. It is important that we join together across disease states around access and affordability issues that affect patients and their families.

My Motivation and Inspiration

My motivation is my father. He died of heart disease this year, which is probably the number one killer in my family -- and America. My Dad had kidney cancer and type 1 diabetes. When he lost one of his kidneys due to kidney cancer, his remaining kidney failed quickly. He was on dialysis for almost two years before his death.
