My Story
I was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia and chronic cervogenic headaches that turned into migraines a little over a year ago, but I think I’ve had the issue for much longer. I have tried multiple treatment options - PT, nerve blocks, medications, supplements and an ablation. The ablation has been the most successful. Throughout this journey I have learned the importance of being an advocate for myself and relying on my family for support when I need it. This illness has taught me to appreciate the good days. I am lucky to have quickly found great medical providers to help me cope with this.
My Motivation and Inspiration
My dog is my reason for getting up and out of bed on the days that I don’t feel well. Without him this last year would have been much more miserable.
